Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I used to think that I was not able to do my schoolwork on my own. I thought that I would always need help from a peer or teacher. I used to tell myself I was too dumb to do it on my own or that the way I did it was wrong. Now that this year I have chosen to do things on my own and not rely on others, I realized these next two years of high school should not be that bad. To be honest the first three terms of English I did not do my best. So, I could not really tell you what worked for me and what didn’t. One thing I can tell you that worked for me in this class was only getting one assignment a week. Since we already get a lot of work in other classes this made it less stressful. Also, the videos were fun to watch so I was actually paying attention and learning. When a teacher sits and talks to the class nothing really gets in my brain because it’s so boring that I zone out.
